Nutmeg Designs is Margaret Almon and Wayne Stratz. We live in a one-bedroom two-studio row home in Lansdale, PA, and make glass art to catch the eye and delight the soul.

There is something that is evident in the work of someone with passion and compassion, drive and love. A certain glow and life. I was first drawn to Margaret’s work on Etsy. I saw beauty, and a love of pattern and color that I deeply connected with. Imagine my surprise one day when I recognized the work in person at a Guild show. I stopped to chat with Margaret and bought one of her pieces. Again a surprise, when Margaret contacted me shortly after and asked if I was related to someone she knew. Turns out we had met years ago and were lucky enough to reconnect. It was truly a joy! Not long after I was diagnosed with cancer. Margaret again shone with generosity and kindness when she gifted me with a lovely piece to help me through my difficult time. By now I was less and less surprised as Margaret has shown time and again her thoughtfulness, passion, and true good spirit.
