House plaques for California bungalows in Chelsea Studio font
For a number of years Margaret and I have spoken about using a font reminiscent of the time of Craftsman Houses, Charles Rennie Mackintosh Roses, Stickley Furniture, and Tiffany Glass. But did we do it… Nope.
Then came a client from California, who was renovating three Craftsman bungalows. He asked if we could use a different font than our usual ones. He sent an image. Margaret went searching and found Chelsea Studio Font which is based upon lettering created by Mackintosh. And now that we have the font, we are playing around with some of our favorite words. We will post on them soon, but for now let me show you how our client is mounting the house plaques.
