Rainbow Starflower Mandala by Nutmeg Designs

Rainbow Starflower Mandala by Nutmeg Designs, glass on wood, 7 inches.

Now, here is a day we celebrate every day at Nutmeg Designs: International Colour Day.  The official date is March 21st, day of the spring equinox.  The color wheel is a beautiful creation.  Wayne interpreted it as one of his starflowers, and after cutting out the background and the solid color pieces, he handed it to me for the inbetween colors.

Margaret created a Celtic Cross beginning with an antique yellow bead from Italy and then moving through the color wheel.

This was our first color wheel collaboration.  Wayne drew the starflower shape and I intrepreted the colors.
